Church Without Walls® Inc. (CWW®) is a Missional Community of Christians who are focused on dying to themselves and living for God. We want everything we do to reflect this. And in order to become a true missional community, we must be prepared to accept one another - warts and all. This cannot happen by a mere visit to websites like this to schedule a pastoral counseling appointment. This can happen as Christians and their faith communities collaborate to share our hearts with one another, intercede for one another in prayer, worship God together, serve those in need together, challenge one another, and ultimately become Forever Friends in Sovereign Jesus Christ.

FAITH & PRACTICE

The Christian faith and practice of CWW® are governed by the Holy Bible (as the reliable and final authority), which is: (1) reasonable in its claims, (2) exemplified in antiquity, (3) vivified in personal experience, and (4) most fully institutionalized in Local Churches and Para Church Organizations of every human community on earth.

By grace through faith, Eternal God in space and time: (1) inspired its human writers, (2) bears witness with its human readers, and (3) accepts its variable, yet meek, human interpretation.

Until variableness gives way to everlasting on the Last Day, may God help us to promote Christian Union by handling and absorbing Whole Counsel with a sound, yet universal, hermeneutic and exegesis.

ORIGINS

In 1985, Thomas (Dr. J) Jacob was a "Clergyman In Search Of Intimacy"© (to read, click link below). He was desperately "Reaching Out"© (to read, click link below) to God and the Church. While Sovereign Jesus Christ responded with acceptance, the church-at-large chose to blackball him. Only a remnant seemed faithful to deliver inclusive Salvation to this once wayward, now repentant, man.

The aftermath of his consternation, tranquility, and triumph was the start of a Christian Church in Ohio (Corp Charter 781394), Church Without Walls (hereafter CWW®), in 1990. The ensuing decades of synergy have included a U.S. Reg. Service Mark (1982356) connected with the ascent of many on line ministerial service initiatives that challenge Christians to become what they believe--Victors, not victims--through Spiritual Formation.

The fusion of a God Breakthrough and Internet Technology has brought such a venture to fruition! How else could a missional vision given to Dr. J in the 1980s--who became legally blind 20 years later--have been useful for such a time as this?

Christian Pastoral Counseling, including CWW®, is soaring in the 21st Century for several reasons, including the advent of Internet Access Devices and most importantly, humbly answering God's call for Intercessory Prayer. Such a clarified response leads a redeemed human spirit in flesh and blood toward authentic kindness, restoration, and triumph, while simultaneously away from religious spats and witch hunts in abandoned brick and mortar.

Dr. J graduated with his doctorate degree in Spiritual Formation from Chicago Theological Seminary. He also holds degrees from Olivet Nazarene University and Nazarene Bible College in Religion, Theology, and Bible. He is an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force Chaplain Corps. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. He lives with his wife, Kathleen, and has a daughter (Jess) as well as three sons (Jeff, Stephen, and Philip).

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information that may be collected on the site and associated sessions of pastoral counseling. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us and scheduled an appointment. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your requests, e.g. Other professionals (your Pastor or other clergy members, etc.), PayPal (to make a $25 donation accepted at the time of the appointment), Faith Based Organizations (your Local Church or Para Church Organization, etc.), etc.

In order to schedule pastoral counseling, your are required to give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact you about the time, place, etc., of the pastoral counseling appointment in which you have expressed interest. At your option, you may also provide demographic information (such as gender or age) about yourself during a session, but it is not required.

At the time of each appointment, you must provide contact information (like name and billing address) and financial information (only to PayPal like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for purposes of processing the $25 donation accepted at the time of each appointment for pastoral counseling you request for us to deliver (usually a 30 minute session).). If we have trouble processing the donation, we'll use this information to contact you.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email or otherwise in the future to tell you about new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Your Access to and Control Over Information

You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our websites:

*See what data we have about you, if any.
*Change/correct any data we have about you.
*Have us delete any data we have about you.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the websites or at a pastoral counseling session, your information is protected.

Wherever paypal.com collects sensitive information for a $25 donation to CWW® (such as credit card data by PayPal), that information is encrypted and transmitted in a secure way. Your twenty-five USD donation may only be processed by PayPal to maintain lucid accountability. PayPal securely processes donations for Church Without Walls, Inc. When you use PayPal, your credit card number, expiration date, and CSC are NOT shared with Church Without Walls, Inc. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for each PayPal transaction. NOTICE: no donations can be used as a tax deduction, because Church Without Walls Inc. pays Unrelated Business Income Tax on designated donations received for pastoral counseling (per IRS Publication 598, pastoral counseling is a "tangible religious benefit"—a service that has been received by the donor).
